Road Ready Terms of Use

Agreement

These Terms of Use are the agreement between you and Solo Leap Inc. covering your use of the Road Ready app and any purchase you make in it. Installing or using Road Ready means you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.

A study aid, not the test

Road Ready helps you prepare for the Irish Driver Theory Test. It is an independent study app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the Road Safety Authority, the Driver Theory Test service or any other testing body, and it is not official.

Always check the current official rules before you sit the test or drive. Passing practice tests in Road Ready does not guarantee that you will pass the real Driver Theory Test.

Original content

The questions, explanations and illustrations in Road Ready are original works written from the rules of the road as a factual reference. They are not the official question bank and are not copied from it.

You may use them to study. You may not copy, republish or redistribute them.

Road Ready Super

Road Ready is free to use. Road Ready Super is available as an optional monthly auto-renewable subscription or a one-time lifetime unlock.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the period you are in.

Where a free trial is offered, any unused part of it is forfeited when you buy a subscription. Trial eligibility is decided by the App Store, not by us.

Gems

Gems are a consumable virtual item used inside the app. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and cannot be transferred between accounts or devices.

Gems are not refundable except where the law or the App Store refund policy requires it. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple, not by us.

Your progress

Study progress is kept on your device, with a backup in the device keychain so it survives reinstalling the app on the same device. Road Ready v1 has no account and no cloud sync, so progress does not move to a different device and is lost if the device is lost, erased or reset.

Acceptable use

Do not use Road Ready while driving or operating a vehicle. The listen mode exists for study away from the wheel.

Do not attempt to reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the app or its content.

Disclaimer and liability

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Solo Leap Inc. is not liable for test outcomes, driving decisions, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

Changes and contact

We may update these Terms as the app changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Solo Leap Inc. is established, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
