Leap Terms of Use
The agreement between you and Leap when you use the app or buy Leap Premium.
Agreement
These Terms of Use are the agreement between you and Leap covering your use of the Leap app and any purchase you make in it. Installing or using Leap means you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.
Your licence
Leap grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. You may not sell, rent, sub-license, reverse engineer or redistribute the app or its widget designs, except where that restriction is prohibited by law.
What Leap Premium unlocks
The free version of Leap includes 4 saved widgets, and 1 of them may use your own photo as its background. Every design and every style is free to browse and use, and the daily check-in and streak always stay free. A 7-day trial temporarily raises the allowance to 8 saved widgets and lets any of them use your photo. Leap Premium removes the limit on how many widgets you can save and lets any saved widget use your photo. Premium does not change the daily check-in, which is free for everyone.
Subscriptions and billing
Leap Premium is offered as a monthly auto-renewable subscription or as a one-time lifetime unlock. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. A monthly subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of that period. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account settings - Leap cannot cancel it for you. The lifetime unlock is a single purchase and does not renew.
Refunds
All purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds are governed by Apple's policies and requested through Apple, not through Leap. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription.
Restoring purchases
A purchase is tied to your Apple Account, so it can be restored on any device signed in with the same account using Restore Purchases in Settings.
Widgets and system limits
Leap draws Home Screen widgets using WidgetKit. How often iOS refreshes a widget, and whether a wallpaper composites behind it, are decided by the operating system and can change between iOS releases. Weather and calendar content depends on permissions you grant and on Apple services, and may show placeholder data when those are unavailable. Battery readings come from the public iOS API, which reports charge in 5% steps.
Your content
Anything you put into a widget - text, goals, photos - stays yours. It is stored on your device and Leap claims no rights over it.
Disclaimer and liability
Leap is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. Leap is a habit and personalisation tool, not medical, financial or professional advice. To the extent permitted by law, Leap is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and any liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim.
Apple
Apple is not a party to these terms and has no obligation to provide support for Leap. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these terms and may enforce them against you.

These terms may be updated with future releases; the date above shows the latest revision. This page mirrors the Terms of Use shown inside the Leap app (Settings > Legal).
