A free desktop pet with eight cursor-reactive critters: cat, black cat, dog, bunny, fox, bear, cat tail and fox tail. Bring the cursor near and a paw springs out with real spring physics. Right-click the notch to switch companions or quit.
For macOS 14 or later on Apple Silicon. No notch required: on displays without one, your pet lives in the middle of the menu bar.
Free. No subscriptions or in-app purchases. No Dock icon or menu-bar item. The render loop sleeps when idle.

The NotchPaw app has no network access, accounts or analytics. This website uses the anonymous analytics described in our website privacy policy.
