For iPhone with iOS 17+ and Mac with macOS 14+ and Apple Silicon. Use your own Microsoft or Google account for cloud storage, or play local files without a cloud account.
Family Sharing shares the app license, not cloud files or music rights. Each listener needs their own authorized library and setup. This is not a hosted household library or synchronized listening service. Music and cloud storage are not included; provider charges may apply.
It streams songs from your own OneDrive or Google Drive folder, or plays the songs already on your iPhone. It builds a fast library with albums, search, favourites and artwork; supports offline downloads; prefetches nearby tracks so skipping feels instant; and keeps playback available in the background with lock-screen controls.
Leap Music uses read-only access to your cloud storage and does not re-host or copy your files to a Solo Leap server.
